American's (and honestly most of us in the west) think that casting a vote once every 4 years is plenty of action. The French know it sure as fuck isn't action at all.

It's why the US uses the Prison system as retribution and not rehabilitation. The point is that the citizenry fear the system, rather than the system fearing the citizenry. I'd be honestly pretty surprised to see actual violent protests, because American cops and military both would love to put down anyone stepping out of line.

    To put a finer point on it, the US has always used the Prison system as legal slavery. ☝🏼🤮🤕

    To expound, the 13th Amendment explicitly abolished slavery nationwide... except as a punishment for a crime. It states that neither slavery nor involuntary servitude shall exist in the U.S., "except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted." (we all know how infallible the Justice® system is, ofc) This means that any state is legally allowed to compel incarcerated people to work.

    For generations now, our incarcerated people've generally been required to work for ~12¢ - 40¢ per hour, without standard federal workplace protections. (ya know, like a minimum wage or the right to unionize) 🤬😢

    Yeah, everyone paying attention knows that the US is still using slavery every single day. Honestly I'm not even sure who is worse these days between the big three. Russia can be pretty violent and corrupt, and China wants to have a solid grasp on all of their nationals and will do whatever necessary to have that grasp, but the US does FAR more damage world wide with their Military than either of those two, and largely its for their own corporations.

    To put the finest of points on it. The US is the enemy of humanity, it doesn't really matter where they fall in the top 3, but they sure as fuck aren't on anyones side but their own.

    Even if they manage to get out of this shit, the tariffs are unlikely to be completely rescinded, because the Dems are violent evil douchebags too. It's just a violent evil country that props itself up in "exceptionalism" AKA White Supremacy.

    Yeah no one is gonna do anything. I guess a lot of the products will say Made in USA because of all the upcoming child, immigration, debtor, and forced prison labor.

    If only they could have seen it coming.
