White supremacists believe white people should be in charge of things. That doesn't mean that a white supremacist needs to be white themselves.

She's a white supremacist too.

So then why doesn't she accept her place?

Ignorance, in short. She thinks, among other similar things, that they'll let her alone if they think she's on their side. She's not quite understanding that people like that are damaged and don't (can't?) think of others different than themselves as anything but enemy regardless of what objective reality slaps them across the face with.

It's like some variation of Stockholm syndrome.

Yeah, the argument that republicans who aren't white simply want white people to be in charge doesn't hold up, since they're always surprised when they aren't treated with the same respect white supremacists give to each other. Instead, they honestly think that if they treat white supremacists with respect, they'll be respected in return.

Even after all that's happened, they can't understand that nearly 50% of the US population simply hates anyone with an arbitrarily high amount of melanin in their skin; they do it for no reason, and will never stop or make exceptions for the "good ones." This also applies to misogynists and women.

These people think "they are one of the good ones" and that they will be recognized as such, but in reality they'll only be used by these racists while they think they're useful. Surprise, you sold your kin for nothing.
