Reminds of a fascinating story of an prehistoric Aryan shaman leader excavated in Germany in 30s who turned out to be a witch female with a unique genetic twist that gave her an ability to go in trance at will, and she was so important, her grave received sacrifices 400 years after she died.

If you haven't heard it yet

What the actual fuck, how are we rebooting movies left and right but not making this? She's called the Bad Dürrenberg shaman for christsake. Get Robert Eggers on this shit stat!

Studios only greenlight safe remakes these days. Look what happened with the new Tom Cruise film, they can't risk that.

Best part is I've actually heard great things about Digger and I can't wait to see it.

And I mean make this a feminist Nazi-sploitation movie a la X + Inglorious basterds and it's nearly pandering.

Hollywood can't do well and do well, though.

Newest plot twist in this case: Studies kinda proved that she (like almost everybody at this time in Europe) was black

So the Nazi used her for her propaganda as the male aryan clan king. But in the End she was a black shaman :D

Here a podcast according to this case from a German public Radio. Sadly there is no international version.

i just want to note that the "genetic twist" was a fucked up neck/spine, not the magical ability to control her own brain. She would have to tilt her head in just the right way to trigger it.

It's a fairly rare development of blood vessels in the neck. By twisting her head she were able to restrict blood flow to brain and it brought side effects which mesolithic people probably considered to be a magic power.
