Typical fediverse user in that sense. It's not exactly surprising, a self hostable social media does seem to have a lot of people who believe self hosting things is trivial.

    Yeah, it’s not the first time I’ve received a reply like that, but that was a thousand times better than the last one.

    Last time it was my comment on why I hadn’t made the switch to Linux, I couldn’t get wow to work so I went back to windows (I know, windows bad). I get a reply basically calling me an idiot and saying even his tech illiterate mother got it working on Linux, like I didn’t spend a full day trying.

    But yeah, this person was significantly more respectful and I appreciated their response. Carl seems like good people.
