I always think it's a shame when uncle jokes seep into dad jokes. They are not the same. I wouldn't tell my under-10yo kids an uncle joke. I would tell them a dad joke. I would tell my teenage nephews and nieces an uncle joke. Uncle jokes should be in an uncle jokes community e.g. !unclejokes@lemmy.world

It'll be a shame if this community changes into smut - we get enough of that elsewhere, it's nice to have a place for clean jokes. But I guess I'm in the minority.
