I finally have mostly queer friends!! (except like one cishet girl but she's rocking with us so i'm rocking with her lol) I grew up with almost all of my friends being cishet girls and ppl online like to act like cishet girls are honorary queer but they can be just as shitty with queer and especially trans stuff as anyone else. Not one cishet girl I've ever come out to has gendered me correctly for more than one sentence at a time, except my ex but she'd exclusively use they/them (I use she/they) for me and insist I "just be her lil femboy". It feels nice to finally have mostly queer friends. I haven't come out to all of them just bc it's not particularly relevant rn since I can't even dress fem or anything bc my mom threw out all my stuff before I got to college. But we've went to drag shows and cabarets and trans-inclusive queer parties together and they've all said such kind stuff. I can't wait to get to come out to them all--later this year hopefully! College rly is the place to be
