Can’t believe they are following through with releasing this. They will cancel complete looney tune movies but not one as problematic at this? I figured this project was done before post even started

The Looney Toons (Tunes? I’m too lazy to look it up) movie cancellation was by WB/Discovery - who have developed a bit of a habit doing that, but it’s not common in the wider industry.

At this point, the movie is so infamous that they may as well try to cash in and cover some of those lawyer fees!

Tunes indeed and a very common mistake to make. I thought for years it was toons for sure, but it's tunes for the music, not toons for cartoons. The sister show was merry melodies, kinda helps remember.

It had never occurred to me that the two were related. Duh!

Wikipedia describes Merry Melodies as a spin-off from Looney Tunes!

The title of Looney Tunes was inspired by Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies.

Otherwise someone died for nothing, and, more importantly, rich people would lose money.
