Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.

Why the hell would I trust a mono amp manufacturer to make a good stereo speaker? Especially when there is absolutely 0 stereo reproduction products or experience. Fender makes a single guitar sound ok. Not a speaker company.
Huh? Whence Fender? The speaker is from Teufel, a German company which has been making reputable stereo and surround speakers for decades.
The only thing in this direction that I can find is that Fender and Teufel have some cooperation going on since 2024, but it doesn't even relate to this speaker.
Not excusing the ignorance, but if you click the link to the vendor's page from a US IP it offers to redirect you to their US page, which is completely flooded with Fender X Teufel co-branded products:

There's literally nothing but Fender co-branded products in the US. Kinda sad actually because I want this open source speaker
Brand recognition and now they can charge a bunch more because it says fender somewhere.
