Not the point but does the tweet's OP not know the word Vietnam? Why always clump huge regions together like the individual countries don't matter?

"Vietnam" is not widely known for sex tourism, but "Southeast Asia" is coded. "Sex Tourism in Southeast Asia" is a familiar term in American English and the image caption is tailored to leverage that association. This image was created to be misinformation and the creator chose the phrasing to increase the image's impact.

If they didn’t know where the original image was from that’s a decent guess. The only obvious signifier is the words on the wall and I’m happy to excuse them not knowing what Veitnamese looks like from that.
