Going off their other comments, the furry/tech population here, and their mention of specific bars, Seattle. Don't worry though, I'm in the same area/culture and still find it kinda weird to throw out a location like that.

To be fair to them, though, the op post does reek of capitol hill furries and techno queers being commonplace and pleasantly weird. So common, that even outside of that city, there are occasional furry bars and coffee shops and stuff. It's actually really nice.
