You can observe the discarding of a US proxy progress like an infection by watching stories about Ukranian government corruption slowly make their way up the bloodstream of public "opinion", from small papers up to the new york crimes.

    The funniest part is how this was widely reported in mainstream western media before the war started. Now that the US wants to wind the war down, all of a sudden omertà on reporting these things is lifted.
