I did enjoy him on parks and rec but I think he's good at the roles he's filling, golden retriever comedic relief that can take on action scenes and will be generally liked by the average American.

He's no Anthony Hopkins or Daniel Day-Lewis but he's got general audience pull and that goes back to why they'd cast him as Mario.
