    Sadly, I'm in the UK. The best we've got near me is a WWII A-class boat at Gosport.

    That's still pretty cool. When I was in SONAR school I used to love sitting in the tech pub library reading all the old SONAR tech pubs going back to WWII.

    Oh, I enjoyed visiting HMS Alliance but would love a look around an SSN or even a Type VII U-boat.

    I'm a scuba instructor, and one of our favorite books in the hobby is "Shadow Divers" by Robert Kurson.

    It's the story of wreck divers in the 90s discovering a U-Boat off the coast of New Jersey that shouldn't have been there according to any records. They dove it over the course of several years and multiple people died trying to solve the mystery of the sub.

    Worth a read.
