If someone brags about reading for status but only reads fiction, their knowledge is useless in practice. Fiction can be great, but treat it like junk food, enjoyable but not real world wisdom

Early stories were passed down for generations, adapted by the people who told them. Capitalists call this "plagiarism" because they want to atomize us with their heinous individualism and then replace our friends with petit bourgeois streamers

    You are actually right. I should've realized that. It is only in Capitalism that media is treated so much as a commodity, where it has to be sold as a form of labor. It is not my call to ask what other people do with their art in such personal terms.
