EDIT: Man...I dunno. It's a good thought, but... It's hard to see with the compression artifacts, but when I stare at it, it really looks like a hex nut and washer rather than at least this riveted sign:
Like, there's a bulge at the base of the rod, and it looks like it has flat sides to me.
