this happens all the time. I saw it in the 90s doing ride-alongs with med-star (ambulance company). it's gonna dump a lot of water into the vehicle, too, because hoses get use, worn and leak. And every time I see it I feel a little bit of joy in my heart because fuck you, stop blocking hydrants you ghouls.

    Rules are rules? I totally agree. But deciding about punishment is, according to the rules, not the job of the fire fighters.

    So it seems you are all all-in on "rules are rules" sometimes, but fine with "who cares about rules" at others?
