How can I turn a PDF (like over 100 "pages") into a video that shows each page as a still for an arbitrary amount of time each? (lemmy.world)

Export the PDF as individual images for each page. Bring all the files into a video editing program. Adjust the length of each page as individual clips as needed. Export the video.

Tools:
MasterPDFEditor. It's on Arch's repositories. Open PDF with it. Open file > export > as images. Choose all pages. Done.

Kdenlive. In the project bin, select Add Image Sequence. Configure said sequence, pointing it to the folder of said exported images, and how long each image is displayed. Add sequence to the timeline. Render video. Done.
