GUYS.

WE NEED TO VOTE.

I cannot stress this enough.

VOTE.

THE FATE OF DEMOCRACY DEPENDS ON YOU WALKING INTO THAT BUILDING AND FILLING IN A LITTLE CIRCLE.

VOTE FOR THE LESSER EVIL.

NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

THE LESSER. EVIL.

I'M FOAMING AT THE MOUTH.

I'M SHAKING.

I HAVEN'T SLEPT IN 72 HOURS.

WE NEED TO VOTE.

DID YOU VOTE YET?

WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS?

GO VOTE.

WE NEED MORE VOTES.

VOTE HARDER.

I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU VOTE HARDER BUT FIGURE IT OUT.

VOTE WITH MORE INTENSITY.

VOTE AGGRESSIVELY.

VOTE SO HARD THE BALLOT MACHINE STARTS CRYING.

WE NEED TO VOTE.

WE MUST VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

I like how it’s always just “vote” never what or who to vote for, just the singular act of “voting” is going to solve all of our problems as if it’s a magic lever that immediately vanquishes whatever ills society may have. Never mind if someone votes “wrong” just the mere act of “voting” is all that’s needed.

Democracy for workers begins and ends at the ballot box; it comes and goes in a moment. For the bourgeoisie and capital, it remains an unchallenged, continuous process with hardly a temporal break.

Democracy for workers isn't a process that grants us the ability to interact with our material world at every stage of development and guide it to conditions favorable to us. Democracy for the bourgeoisie exists in precisely this manner, that is why they can achieve what they want.
