I had almost all these sets as a kid!

Must have been nice growing up rich...

In my friend group there was only one who actually got one of those for Christmas (I think it must have been the Galaxy Explorer, I remember the cool cockpit and the specific moon baseplate).

For a time he was the star of afternoon play meetings, as no one else had something remotely comparable.
(I only had a box of basic second-hand Legos left over from the seventies).

For the rest of my friend circle those all were dreams while reading the mail order catalogues...
