Is this a commentary on the elderly's tendency to imagine/overestimate dangers in the world that arent there? Or is this, like John Wick's mother?

    I think it's just funny that she's not painting a model, or a still life, but what she's seeing through the peeping hole - and that there's a bunch of dangerous-looking folks outside the door.

    That... Seems unlikely. I can't see how this relates to that beyond "there is someone outside her house"

    It's reusing the normal meaning of muse, which is a person that inspires an artist. So this artist used Facebook Muse to get her muses at the door so she can use them as inspiration for her painting.
    It took me some time to get it, but I think it's quite funny.
