People have to stop equating a bad perceived value with price gouging. If you don’t think it’s a good value, don’t buy it. There’s nothing about any Apple product that is a necessity that you can’t live without. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 11 child comments replies: [–] StabbingSky@lemmy.zip 12 points 4 days ago* (6 children) You're absolutely correct. It’s goods beyond basic needs. Apple is very very much a luxury. By no means are they a need. Even if you consider a cell phone a need today, there are dozens of other phones out there ranging from a few bucks up to a few thousand dollars. You can certainly consider them overpriced, sure. That’s an opinion. What’s a fact is that they are very much a luxury, not a necessity. permalink fedilink source parent [–] username123@sh.itjust.works -3 points 4 days ago (1 child) “Luxury products” permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] Earthwormjim91@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago Jesus Christ I’m using actual fucking terms here.
