TSA confirmed the decision, ⁠saying: "This welcome change reinforces both our security posture and our commitment to ​hospitality by having these officers on their feet and alert. All officers must ​meet fitness for duty requirements to be capable of performing their vital national security function."

This kind of shit is how you can tell a boomer is running it. Stupid outdated cruel decisions. I hate TSA as an institution, but a lot of people employed there are just trying to get by, same as the rest of us.
