Just because you prefer to be miserable sitting in traffic, doesn't mean everyone else should have to too.

There's a difference between avoiding traffic by using another form of transportation and avoiding traffic by being reckless. The latter is no better than the assholes who speed around traffic on the shoulder and try to sneak into the front of the line, and even if EVERYONE were on scooters, the other scooter drivers would hate the reckless ones too.

I live in a place where absolutely everybody rides scooters, nobody cares about people using the shoulders to get around traffic, it only seems reckless if you're so car-brained you think everybody should be lowered to your level. Here drivers internationally leave room for us to filter by at stoplights, if they don't they're likely to get their car banged up.

What people do have problems with is speeding in narrow allyways, you know behavior that represents danger to more than just car-brained driver's feelings.

    Even the animals ride scooters

Cars are less than 10% likely to cause severe injury at those speeds, ebikes have a 20th of the mass of a car.

Its not the mass of the vehicle, its the pedestrian getting knocked down and banging their head on the pavement or curb edge that makes bike collisions as deadly.

Just no. While bicycle collisions have the potential to be fatal, they are nowhere near as lethal as collisions between cars and people or bikes.
