U.S. President Donald Trump seemingly discussed the idea of foreign powers taking out California’s most populated cities while delivering a speech at a Republican rally at the Pinnacle Bank Expo in Grand Island, Nebraska Monday evening.

I hear you, but isn’t that what Putin wants? A disunited west?

In this case it would be more like Scotland potentially leaving the UK to rejoin the EU. The west coast would be leaving the USA to rejoin the international community lmao

I mean.. this supports what I said.

The Scotland leave vote was obviously supported by Putin.

They didn’t even have a plan for what currency they’d use. They said “uhh.. pound?” and England said “no.” Then they said “uhhh.. euro?” and Europe said “guess again.”

California would lose its biggest market, the rest of America. I don’t think Canada or Mexico would welcome California at this moment. The EU wouldn’t offer California a guest pass or whatever Canada is getting.

California leaving the US and taking its 40+ million voters would further fracture the US in particular and The West in general and not have any obvious upside.

First, how is it united now? Second, why would two countries that used to be one not align against a common adversary?

It’s United because it’s one country.

Why would two separate entitities act as one?

Look at Brexit. Putin definitely celebrated after that.

LOL that's literally the basis for the USA and the EU. Separate countries that join together as a block.
