With -10C you might keep it as warm as 20-22C inside, usually with -20C and lower and an air source heat pump, you're probably going to keep it a bit colder to save on electricity.

    How cold would it need to be to use normal levels of electricity at - 20c? My winters aren't that extreme, and I already have a pellet stove. Wondering if I would be a candidate for air source when my oil burner kicks the bucket.
