Hence the utmost and urgent necessity for families to have their own libraries, a family and a personal one or one shared among families, just making it out of reach from schools.

At least for the time being, we're still allowed to purchase whatever 'banned' books by any school.

Edit: and make it a print library, actual books not ebooks: as no AI can remotely edit or delete a printed book.

Nah, we need to open more vandal-resistant public libraries. Kids that go to public schools are the firsts to need public accessible knowledge because guardians cannot afford a personal collection. We need to also resist by making more copies abundant. Get everyone of these books reprinted, remirrored, torrented, etc.. Knowledge is lost when we do not copy.

This. It's the poor kids who this targets the most in the first place. Equal access to uncensored media is absolutely essential for any society that isn't a fascist paradise.

It's not just libraries either. People need to reject censorship across the board. Why the hell is George Carlin's 'Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television' still relevant to this day?

Hence me suggesting people try to organize something together, not to bear the cost alone (note that used books can be found for cheap... but for that people should at least know used books are a thing and since most don't read much anymore, they probably have no clue)

Knowledge is lost when we do not copy.

    Indeed.

Note that knowledge is also lost the moment we (the elders) stop transmitting kids the desire (and the ability) to read.... which is very precisely and very, very actively what our society is doing right now to those kids. And no school would feel that entitled to ban a single book if they new parents were worrying about what's going with books and reading in that library.
