My house has an engine that burns fuel, so it can’t be that, either. That’s mostly for heat and to drain my wallet.

It must be the configuration of the seats. In my house, they mostly face each other, whereas in my car, they’re all facing the same direction. I think this is why the house doesn’t move – it doesn’t have that clear hint of what direction it should go.

    I dunno, busses and trains have seats that face each other so it’s clearly not that.

    I bet it's the windshield wipers. Cars, busses and trains have them, but houses do not. In fact, I can't think of a single thing that doesn't move that has them.
