Gamers often use “pro” which comes from profesional, i never really saw a connection with money there.

    I guess nowadays you need to be in the category of "obsessive person", to even try to get any doable quality of code.
    Considering that words like "competent" or "careful" or even "perfectionist" don't apply to me and I would guess Linus is putting more effort than me, to keep his codebase clean.
