MODERATORS
When I met my now-wife, she worked at Five Guys. Every workday she'd come home smelling like burgers and ketchup. I have a pretty limited sense of smell, so I enjoy most (but not universally all) things I can smell. That these were the smell of food I enjoyed also helped. I kinda miss those times, though she's much happier no longer working that job.
I don't know how I smelled. Hopefully not unpleasant.

It sucks that I am Scandinavian by both blood and name, but I feel ashamed to show anything of it. Because it would lump me in with these fuckheads, or worse, the nazi fucks.
you know there are more scandinavian stereotypes than neonazis with rune tattoos, right? The swedish chef is right there, not to mention the "swedes are gay" stereotype.
As a metalhead, I admire Sweden and Norway, so, your shame surprises me. I certainly don't think of neo-nazis when I think of those countries.
Also as a metalhead... Did you forget about all the neo Nazi metal bands from Sweden and Norway?

That doesn't take away from the genius of the non-nazi artists from that region. And there's plenty.

I don't feel like that region stands out in neo-nazism and anything far right. Like, I would say, Finland has a particular problem? And slavic countries. France too. But in any case, when I find a black metal band I like, I always check if they're sketch or not, no matter the country. All countries have sketchy black metal artists.
So... that leaves an aura of prestige around Sweden and Norway for me. And I certainly don't associate them overall with neo-nazism.
