The group consisted of 33 men and seven women, along with a family of three children, according to Spunik Georgia.
Police said four of the men had previously been found guilty of various offences.
Ireland’s Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration Jim O’Callaghan stressed that the majority of Georgian citizens living in the country are there legally.
