When I come home from being among people, I blow my nose and wash my hands + face, and I feel like that helps, too. I mean, logically it should help, since I'm physically removing bacteria and whatnot.

But yeah, I don't know, feels a bit weird that we're only telling people to wash their hands, when airborn bacteria/viruses are a thing...

Blowing my nose can trigger sinusitis, I do nasal rinsing instead. Though if you have a deviated septum, you need to be careful since it may flow out of the same nostril it came in.

    What is the mechanism?

    Physically removing the bacteria?
Did starting the habit of 3x gargling make them more aware of other issues and start making changes in life?

Also, did they gargle at morning, afternoon, evening/night etc?

Water did better than medicine? Couldn't see at a glance if it was statistically significant though.

    What about mouthwash? Lol
