Used up a perfect piece of scrap, too. Now I'll have to make a glueup for the body of the righty version.
I'm going to leave the lefty 90% finished and do the final 10% if I ever find a need for it.

    I find that if you don't finish that last 10% now than if you do ever find a use for it you won't bother with that last 10% and will just find a quicker work around to finish the project you were working on instead. Then that last 10% will never get done.

    The theory is that you'll want both versions depending on the grain you're dealing with - which I believe is why Lee Valley will sell you a pair of their models. Realistically...
