Hey, as someone who has hated most of social media because of all the negativity, insane stupidity, bigotry and other nonsense, I have come to really like interacting quite frequently on here - through commenting as well as posting - because it is mostly free from all that crap you get elsewhere
post
Interestingly, you can lurk and learn at the same time 👍 (spoken as a professional lurker)
Lemmygrad is a great community of people. I hope that everyone who takes the time out of their day to post here continues to do so with thought and intention. It's one of the few sites I visit anymore because it feels like the people who post with a @lemmygrad.ml after their name are very caring and thoughtful people, and I feel like I actually get something out of the few scrolls of sort=New that I do, whether its something that I learn, or an encouragement that I receive to do better.
Great meme btw
You're right, I was not mindful of that this graphic that had 'IQ score' at the bottom and the phrenological context of this meme format; it was not intended to be the message. The intention was to show a bell curve distribution of the different ways that people cope with hearing about something negative about society.
The meaning being that the majority of people are ignorant, others are pessimistic, and others have an optimism that is obtained through belief that a better tomorrow is possible. Attached is an amended version without the IQ scale; though I can still see the wojacks contributing to the phrenological lens of this meme; at least I hope my message is now apparent.
