If you do, might be worth sharing as a post because I've already commited to another party so I feel like it would be a bit of a waste of your time to just share it with me. Even so, I appreciate it.

Jew got used a lot in my area in a similar way. It's horrible looking back and it got used in a lot of ways, one of the weirder uses was in football/soccer, where doing a sideways pass to a teammate for an easy goal was called 'jew-ing it'.

Some policy stuff, such as how they view China, whether they are transphobic like many other uk parties and do they offer a good induction scheme.

it's hard to get a good judge on them though due to a lack of information. I'm going to join Plaid Gomiwnyddol Cymru even though I'm not Welsh as from what I can see they look great and it should be a good learning experience. And perhaps if they get enough non-Welsh members they'll create a Plaid Gomiwnyddol England/Scotland/Britain of sorts.

Hopefully China sees this as a potential scenario too, I imagine that they do because if I, a moron on the internet can, a party of millions much more educated than I am should.

We've talked before, at this point, the only advice I've got left for you is to tap into your rage, let it fuel you to carry on. Turn that pain into spiteful action and you'll have more energy each day and spend less time wallowing in your misery, a misery which is not your fault btw. Also, I appreciate your online input the multiple times per week I come across it, you do make a difference as much as that may be hard to see through the depressive state of mind.

For what it's worth, you are in the right here. AI is not inherently bad, it is the existence of capitalism which makes it be used for exploitation.

Under socialism, it would be utilised for the benefit of society, and if AI can exist, it will inevitably exist therefore anyone who talks of eridicating AI is promoting silly utopic ideas. I'd prefer for it to be strictly limited to minimalising annoying, monotonous labour and service industies including of course, assisting the disabled.

However I will say you'll have an easier time convcining others of this if you argue your point without insults, as they are less likely to listen if you do. I'm actually curious, if you don't mind disclosing that is, what do you use AI for in regards to helping you with your disability?

The CPB, first and foremost, as a party is not active enough, not revolutionary enough, it is reformist, revisionist, most members don't read much theory (if any) and as a branch - aka whatsapp group chat - they are not disciplined enough. This is pretty bad but maybe I can try work to improve them, you might be thinking, like I did.

HOWEVER it gets much worse because the party also has plenty of past controversies, such as multiple cases of sexual assault on young female members, policy which strongly indicates, hell, confirms, it is run by TERF's (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists) and many TERF members within it which I have seen firsthand share their transphobic and other recationary narratives go, mostly, uncriticised.

I was never expecting perfection but I have become aware just how beyond flawed this party really is, I would go as far as to state that this party is not even a communist party but instead a social-democratic, capitalist, reformist party with reactionary social views that merely uses a populist communist image to grow.

You will see people share this kind of sentiment from things they hear and see online, I can confirm as someone who stupidly joined them, ignored the warning signs and attended various meeting, that they really are as bad as other comrades say that they are, once you drop your rose-tinted sunglasses, it is obvious.

If Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Ho Chih Minh, Kim Il Sung, Thomas Sankara were still alive to see this party, I can say with full confidence that none of them would support this party in it's current state. Even still, some members of the CPB are good people, with good intentions, good views, who want a working class revolution. And what these members need to realise and accept is that this party is majorly misaligned with your views and therefore not worth your continued support at all.

This is a follow-up of sorts to my previous post on here about a week ago. I hate that this party exists, it needs to be destroyed and in my position currently, this is about all I can do, share on somewhere (that I'm not banned on and enjoy socialising on lol) where potential future CPB members and current members may see, the absolute necessity for entirely opposing and definitely not supporting this awful party on all fronts.

To those who are sucking on that CPB copium and won't take my word for it, check out prolewiki's article on them here: https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/Communist_Party_(Britain)

Most of the subs are marxist-leninist, some are not strictly so but have a significant marxist-leninist regular userbase and I still enjoy scrolling through them. You can make a personal copy of the feed and then remove or add anything you like/dislike for your own use. Even if you're not a marxist-leninist you still may find use from this in learning our views and beliefs and personality traits better or something.

Feel free to comment below if you have any recommendations for subs to add or to just shoutout for others who may stumble upon this post.

I want to be involved in politics, actually do something rather than just complain about the world online all day.

That is why I joined the CPB but I have been feeling disappointed in my experience so far aside from a few good moments here and there. In retrospect I also should have done more research on them before applying, they have a lot of past controversies and bizarre, arguably reactionary views.

But my other options, aren't great neither. You've got: The Greens which are Eco-Socialists I guess, not exactly M-L's but they're doing well at least. Labour are right-wing neoliberals now so they're completely out of the question. 'Your Party' was supposed to be the up and coming democratic socialistic left, pro-Palestine party but mostly fell apart and might remain irrelevant. RedFightback no longer exists since 2023 which from what I can tell were created as the alternative to the other shite out there. The CPGB-ML are from what I can tell are even worse than the CPB.

Am I missing something (like some mystical British M-L communist group which is everything I could dream of but have yet to hear of) or is there really nowhere that makes much sense to join? Is the state of the current communist movement in the UK genuinely this dire? Do I have to 'do a Hasan Piker' by joining the Greens and hope to turn their members further left?

Help, I want to actively be involved in building socialism in my country, get organised in my community but have nowhere I can see where I would feel that I truly belong!

Relevant texts on the TERF (Trans exclusionary radical feminists) stuff I have been reading through, the CPB are mentioned in both:
