Eat the same breakfast every day until I'm sick of it, and then the next day it's back again

What triggers the loop? Sleeping? Unsubscribing from life? There are many experiments to do if there will be no consequences
Learning. With breaks to play video games, spend whole days hanging out with my wife, and to get laid. Hopefully it happens on a weekend so I don't have to explain not going to work to my wife every day.
Oh man, what if your groundhog loop happened during an 18h flight to the other side of the world? I'd go insane.
Learn a foreign language till I'm fluent.
When the time loop finally comes to an end, pretend to have a seizure and after waking up only speak in the new language to troll people.
Why would the time loop come to an end?
I'd probably spend a fair amount of time trying to figure out how it is possible I am stuck in a time loop, considering that violates the laws of physics as I understand them.
Great point. I don't think I could just go through this seemingly impossible situation without trying to figure out how or why.
God, so much, that sounds like heaven. I'm incredibly interested in everything, and I'd pursue so many more skills if I had years of free time, especially if the world was basically paused around me. Learning instruments, learning languages, reading so many books. So many books.
You could throw me in a single day loop for centuries and I would be happily learning the whole time.
As someone with guitar calluses, let me say that if every time you practiced guitar was your first time, you'd give up pretty quickly.
hedonism. as much as all my savings could aquire in a day. the loop is a day right? we are talking groundhog day?
Play video games that use passwords instead of saves. Then, get better at remembering strings of characters. Find enjoyment with the things I have, as it would be a pain to get the same things every loop.
Play golf through the Stargate, of course.
I'd use it as an excuse to get really good at my hobbies for a year or so with no long-term responsibilities getting in the way before even trying to break out lmao
Depends when was the last time I jerked off? And how long loop?
In my head I was picturing the movie groundhogs day.
In the short story groundhogs day is like 10000 years
If we're going with a Groundhog day scenario I would pretty much do what he did. Some days or part of my day working on learning some skills such as piano. Mix up some hanging out and messing with people. I would try to spend as much time as possible with my wife and baby. It would be weird to have the same day with them but still want to see them
If I’m aging: start immediately filming an explanation and such for my wife knowing I’ll never see her move or speak again.
If I’m not, and there’s an end eventually: get caught up on sleep, clear my gaming backlog, take imposssible pictures, have a good time.
Why would you never see her move or speak again? Wouldn't that only be during a time freeze, and not a timeloop?
Sleeping as much as possible. It's also what I'd do if I had the power to stop time.
I mean... I'm sort of doing that right now.
My routine is very consistent. Right down to eating the same meals every day so I don't need to think about what to eat, and I know what I'm getting at the store every week.
Sleep. So much sleep.
Learn to play the piano. Learn to fix my car. The car would always be back to what it was but the knowledge would stay with me
I think the first few hundred times through the loop from Stargate would be a good start
Do the hypothetical traumas and consequences of my time loop actions somehow propagate into the broader, static universe, or can I safely commit atrocities knowing that each new capsule universe will dissolve into nothingness every 24 hours, resetting its moral boundary conditions each time?
Cuz I have big ideas, but there might be collateral damage.
Daytime depends on the season and weather; skiing, climbing or kayaking. Nighttime calls for grilling , chillin' and thrillin' no mater the season.
IRL I try to go skiing every ground hog day just in case.
