Phineas and Ferb. I watched it when I was an adult, still it was an actually fun watch.
The Owl House, if that counts. It's not perfect by any means and could have had a lot more episodes if disney didn't hate queerness, but it's the one we keep around.
Animaniacs is great, but as a kid I loved Tiny Toons (they also had better videogames) ^(Also,^ ^til^ ^there's^ ^Tiny^ ^Toons^ ^Looniversity,^ ^gonna^ ^give^ ^it^ ^a^ ^watch)^. I rewatched some episodes during the pandemic and, to me, they mostly held up well (then current references notwithstanding). It was also fun, to me, to finally compare the Brazilian dub to the original voices, and I think our VAs did a great job overall (personally, I think Babs' Brazilian VA was better than the original, and the original was already one of the best of the show), but some of the characters' name changes weren't really necessary: Elmyra became Felicia, Montana Max became Valentino
As an older person with nephews, I really understand why everyone loves Bluey, because it looks fun for kids and also gives hints and lessons to parents. I personally love how most of the imagination games don't use the common cartoon trick of visually showing what is being imagined by the characters: one notable example (don't know the episode) being of Bluey sitting on a treestump and using a twig as the control stick for her "helicopter", with other kids coming and going with different scenarios for play
Well... Considering I still go back and regularly watch it, I have to say TMNT.
I would say Smurfs or CareBears.
The only show(s) suddenly in my head is Wishbone and also Ghostwriter. Goodbye all other shows!
There is a Voltron reboot with gorgeous musical scales, if interested listen here https://youtu.be/yeX1o-C8jJg
SpongeBob! The first few seasons and the movie are all time classics. Even the later seasons have some gems too.
I grew up enjoying the Pirates of Dark Water, but I think my favorite was Exo Squad!
Honorable mention to the Battle tech cartoon. Because I've been a fan of the franchise for 25 years.
Gotta be GI Joe. There's a lot of shows that could be in the #2 slot, but that cartoon more than any other really was my childhood favorite. Since I can still watch it without rolling my eyes (though not without some laughter at the silly, cheesy parts), it's gotta be top of the heap.
I'd guess Spider-Man and his amazing friends could almost bump GI Joe off the top spot then, but some of the writing is eye roll territory now. Same with Super Friends, though it wouldn't compete with Spidey.
If I picked a modern one, it would come down to exactly what you think of them in terms of being for kids. But it would be either Johnny Bravo or Powerpuff Girls (but only the original run). Johnny, it's dubious if it was really meant for kids or not, but I laugh at it more than PPG. But the girls hold a special place in my heart just because it was so well done as a kid's show that was watchable as an adult that didn't have kids. I'd watch PPG out of my own enjoyment, where I wouldn't with spongebob or most of the kid's cartoons of that era.
As a kid, probably Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As an adult, Bluey.
Danger Mouse.
I used to love Danger Mouse! They don't make them like that anymore...
I have so many different answers I could give because I pretty much exclusively watch cartoons/animated shows whenever I watch traditional TV content instead of videos online.
Though I'm going to say that right now it's definitely Summer Camp Island, created by Julia Potts for Cartoon Network. Can't remember whether Max removed it ( most likely, so enjoy finding it on the high seas if it was ), but it's a 6 season show about an 11 year old anthro elephant kid, Oscar, who goes to this summer camp on an island with his best friend, an anthro hedgehog named Hedgehog for what ever reason. She's literally the only character named like that and it's never explained in the show why. Also, the island is magical and 3 witch camp counselors run it.
The early seasons like season 1 and 2 ( possibly others but I can't remember off the top of my head ) can be watched in just about any order, but there are a couple episodes here and there that will fill you in a little more on a slowly advancing plot in one way or another. Other than that, at some point they start getting more into a storyline that ends up having an amazing end ( even if season 6 feels a little rushed and has some loose ends that aren't neatly wrapped up ).
It was originally just 20 episodes that CN decided in 2018 to do a full 48 hour marathon on Boomerang ( which I assume was just to kill it because it's something new that could have been spent towards their existing stale lineup ). I'm pretty sure most fans were genuinely shocked and surprised when more episodes were announced. I know I was. Either way, I'd personally recommend it.
I'd never heard of that nice one!
I've had a blast rewatching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic with my net-friends lately. Is it the best kids' cartoon ever made? Certainly not: there's more than enough to criticize about it, but flaws and all, it is still my favorite! The characters are fun and the world really captures your imagination, and it and its fandom were a big part of my life for a long time.
