people crying on social media during COVID lockdown

Me: "It's been a while since I've known this kind of peace."

It really was amazing. The silence in the city was so refreshing.

Can't lie, my area had one of the toughest lockdown responses in the world, it was honestly so exciting since I had so much more free time, something interesting was happening and overall I haven't really gotten out of that era of my life yet.

Ironically I felt more connected to my peers during lockdown than I am now, like my friends were online pretty much 24/7, our classes tended to have really silly things happen like a student talking shit about the teacher without realising they weren't on mute and the many fake versions of one classmate who never actually went to the online classes.

My life got better during COVID as everything got pushed online. I didn't go outside for 3 months strait. Now I have to leave again to survive as delivery is crazy expensive again.

yea maybe not literally all the time, it is nice to see nature and friends once in a while, but the vast majority of it? absolutely.

Some people can only afford a room, there is no where else to go.

the trick to defeating bowser is to jump over his fireballs and land on the axe, but in reality that's just going to slice your balls in half
