I've been rocking some pixel art by Postmodern Ouroboros for a couple of years now. It fits the clock and icon locations so well I haven't felt like changing it.
I believe it fits well with my screen lock - a 6x6 pattern with invisible lines/dots

I have a flip phone, if you see that it's your own fault.
All of the lock screen backgrounds and wallpapers on my devices are photos I've taken at various times with my (not-phone) camera.
