6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Wow, Signal is end-to-end encrypted and secure, now switching to some random service that stores all their message is mindblowingly stupid
Actually, the Signal protocol turned out to be fatally flawed in that, if you added the editor of a major publication to your group chat, all of your conversations would end up on the news the next day. Honestly a pretty egregious vulnerability.
They got shit for being stupid and using a public FOSS app that skirts the law.
It makes a kind of sense they would switch to something worse, because of the aforementioned stupid part.

This is the Israeli one right? Don’t take this the wrong way, but why would anybody use an Israeli “secure” app, when half the time when there is a breach in government systems or ransom ware, it’s usually using a product from an Israeli firm. They have repeatedly sold their software to anybody, regardless if the client is our enemy or not.
They do make very good cybersecurity software though.
But Israel and especially Netan-yayhoo are our best buddies... right?
They would do nothing to harm us...
