Seems misleading. They didn't have moss growing outside the station, they had spores in an "exposure" box out there for 9 months, then sent them to earth and were able to grow moss from the spores.

    thanks for clarifying, that's a huge distinction vs. moss actually growing as implied by their phrasing and the image.

    still cool that the spores survived, but much less remarkable.
