Keep in mind that the only reason those dumb people even exist is because capitalism needs people to be nothing more than meat with eyes to consume products.

I always explain it this way:

The capitalists have so much money and power, and they've been in power so long, it's unrealistic to think that no one would fall for their traps. These people aren't the enemy, they are just another kind of victim.

To get to those masses, you must utilise cult-like propaganda yourself, but there's a danger it turns into fascism.
