MODERATORS
Fascists, sociopaths, and psychopaths don't believe in free speech. They can't be shamed. They don't care about hypocrisy. They don't possess morals or ethics. They don't believe in the meaning of words.
They will claim to be the good guys until the very end.
Yet calling them weird was super effective since fascism relies on the people thinking everyone else is abnormal.
It's deeper. It relies on them claiming that they're the voices of the masses and that their brutality is cool and emotionally justifiable. Calling them evil is attacking and they want to fight, and it makes them feel powerful and cool. Weird attacks their ability to frame themselves as cool dangerous underdog heroes
It was always really just the "freedom" to speak hatred against the current out-group. Freedom of speech means nothing if its not intersected with the freedom to live a life free of harassment and discrimination

I actually don't. I just find the hypocrisy to be enraging.
If I was a religious person I would call it close to hubris.
To act so shitty they know their actions will haunt them forever and still think they must know better than everybody else.
And consequently trying to gloss it over and destroy all evidence they did so. It is movie style villainy.

I've never used it, personally. I've only recently begun commenting in here. And I mostly react to other people's posts.
Sometimes that reaction is checking their post history and if what they post sours me up too much I block them.
But I have not been curious enough to check any ones voting record. Yet.

this is the problem rooting a system of ethics in an authoritative morality. morality is socially assigned where as ethics are derived based on reaching consensus. whether or not something is morally right or wrong is nearly indistinguishable from whether or not something is legally allowed or disallowed. the Israelis have been programmed for 80 years to believe that theirs is the most moral army because their interpretation of the torah tells them it must be so. the nazis believed they were right, and so did the americans and british they were drawing inspiration from.
much better to focus on ethics derived on features of what it means to be human and what dignities we must all have respected as we navigate the world

They wouldn't mind if American Jews died. They probably see any Jew who is against the Zionist occupation of Palestine as their second greatest enemy, only behind a reformed Zionist who became Palestine supporter.
Having anyone who had ties to israel at some point in time (even if it's just religious ties) change their mind or even support Palestine makes people who support israel begin to question themselves.
