John Wick was such a good surprise hit. It had hardly any lore, which made the movie even better, because it was so intriguing. The second one was already pretty bad. The third one was absolute ass. I didn't even know a fourth one even existed. Who is the 5th even for? People who enjoy marvel movies?
John Wick is absolutely just another superhero franchise at this point, you're right lol. Watched (and loved) the first one, watched (and was indifferent to) the second, haven't tuned back in since.
I’m a completionist so I watched it until his fake death and now I pretend he’s dead for real.
That 4th movie made me want to die. They added way too much Vampire the Masquerade to my Guy Who Shoots People in the Face movie.
The only John Wick Product™️ I'd be interested in at this point is a Alan Wake 2 style meta-fiction video-game with lots of FMV which questions whether or not John Wick even exists.
