It's because it's a hollow, diluted version of an actual protest march, with no actual political action associated with it. It's a centrist/status-quo friendly way of queer expression. It's taking the original message "We DEMAND freedom, or we riot" and settling it down to "hey we exist too!".

Essentially, it's the ongoing capitalist capture of queerness.

Frankly it should be a pride PROTEST every year until equality is achieved. Fuck this "sanitisation" and corporate friendly display of numbers.

Pakistani military will sell their mother if it meant spiting India. It's the shortcut to get public support instead of doing the hard work of improving the country.

I know this because Indian party in power (BJP) does this too, maybe to a lesser degree, but they do it nonetheless.

People need to understand that "India vs Pakistan" is really (Indian rightwing + religious fundamentalists) vs (Pakistani Army + religious fundamentalis)

Never understood why 'damn' is a swear word. Is it a religious thing?

I would also recommend "Travellers of the Third Reich" by Julia Boyd

It's pretty stupid to block an entire instance for being blocked from one community for what is a small issue in grand scheme of things.

It does not feel empathy. It does not feel anything.

You can write a whole book with just one sentence if the sentence is right-branching. Run-on sentence "rule" is more of an advice for beginners.

Is there a way to install a smart TV OS on e.g. a raspberry Pi, and have it to the tv all the time? Would there be any downsides?

Just so you know, the downvotes are for using the r word
