That was insightful, thanks. Ten years ago I dismissed thoughts of being trans because of "the lack of dysphoria" (as in feeling pain about the body image) and never thought about that much further. My issue was/is mostly just certain social expectations or assumptions that are associated with my perceived gender appearance, but maybe that's a story for another time.
