I thought the film was called Tront because I read wrong.

I was more interested then. I didn't know what it was.

Don't worry I subscribe to an AI tool that has a 43% accuracy on translating French audio so I'll get most of it and infer the rest.

I'd fight you.

I can appreciate a tightening of focus, but I hope you don't actually think taking our eyes off Trump will help us.

Yes. But penguin island was not.

Now watch Trump lift sanctions against Russia and send the most noteworthy opposition to that to the El Salvadoran concenration camp.

The only silver lining in how big the last protest was. If momentum continues in the right direction we may either win, or put him under enough pressure to limit his options, and ensure an election again in 2028.

What you're saying is "reddit is fine, it can stay the front page of the internet, I don't mind"

Yeah, this is just stupid. I wish a significant amount of redditors would go to lemmy.world

I mean, what do you want to tell them to join? Something called "mander.xyz"? "sopuli.xyz"? Maybe something like sh.itjust.works, jlai.lu or yall.theatl.social? I'd feel awkward enough telling them to join "Lemmy" then linking to lemm.ee. Sending them to lemmy.ml would just be cruel.

I can't find one, I'd like to see a map but I don't expect there is one.

Look, you're not going to change in a conversation with me, or any of us.

Only way you'll figure this out is if you actually talk directly to some experienced authority with tools and examples to show you the aerosol spray and things like Petri dish samples. No point in me trying to argue with you, you don't respect my opinion.

You seem like a good example of the "skeptical hedonist" Hank Green recently spoke of. You're skeptical of the necessity of handwashing and the problem of splashback only because it's inconvenient for you to wash your hands after having a piss and you don't want to do it. Even though we'd all very much like you to wash your hands, and some kind of proper hand washing after toilet visits is generally recommended without exception. If you'd rather not wash your hands with the sinks and soaps and paper towels supplied on location, the sensible solution is to wash your hands with a different method like bringing your own hygiene supplies. The sensible solution is not to simply not wash your hands.

Now, if you've read that I'm pretty sure you'll agree with my first statement, that a conversation with me would not change your behavior.

So I hope you seek to actually understand this, instead of just dismissing the problem out of hand. Maybe you'll find some studies, maybe send an email to either someone who researches cleaning and hygiene, or a urologist, or something. They might not be the right person, but they might be able to point you in the right direction. I've heard researchers are often very willing to share what they know with inquirers. Though getting a demonstration would be significantly more effort of course.

"stuff splashes down, not up"

We've got a bona fide idiot on our hands, boys. Our very own Pilkington.

Yeah I posted about that shit a long time ago, I knew people weren't gonna respond, we all saw the numbers. It had the momentum of fucking syrup.

They deserve to get their games deleted. I hope they get real fucking mad about it. Impotent rage, just completely red faced, making little comments and posts here and there pleading and wilding out, writing nasty shit, getting a fucking aneurysm.

Then giving up and moving on, accepting how powerless they are, despite not really being powerless at all. That's the real tragedy of it.

"Ok, Richard, I'm done."

"Yeah, I got the notification actually. Heavy dinner last night?"

"What the actual fuck, Richard?"
