Using antibiotics for preventative care seems like a bad idea. It contributes to the problem of antibiotic resistant bacteria. And it has side effects, like wiping out your gut microbiome.
I'd he curious to know how many people were getting syphilis in the first place. Like, if 50% of people were getting syphilis before, that would mean 50% of people would be taking the antibiotic for no benefit whatsoever.
But do they not believe they deserve these "attacks"? What's honorable about avoiding consequences? How do they square that?
