I remember seeing a post on the trans timeline subreddit of someone who covered their whole head and face in blue makeup and dyed their hair blue (both in the before and after photos). They said they consider it part of their identity and they've just always felt like that's what they need to do to reflect their true self to the world. Good for them for living their truth and if that's what makes them feel authentic I'm glad they're able to do so. I've just never really seen anything like it.
They would probably take the pills that make your skin turn blue in a heartbeat.
My wife and I had a productive talk. I actually vocalized that I've been thinking of transitioning, which is a massive step for me. Prior to this talk I've only told her that I'm questioning my gender identity. She's been very supportive so far. She's made it clear that she'll need a lot of grace and we'll need some couple's therapy but overall her response leaves me pretty hopeful.
On the other hand, constant family stuff around holidays always leaves me feeling a lot of self doubt and makes the prospect of eventually coming out seem so intimidating and overwhelming. I just can't imagine myself ever having the courage to do it with my family or hers.

I was just being sarcastic. All of the "are the straights okay" memes are just examples of various problematic behaviors and traits that exist across the spectrums of sexuality and gender but for some reason LGBTQ folks love to act like they're exclusively cishet problems.
