I'm sorry to hear that, if everything is political to you I imagine you must be experiencing a very hard life situation. I don't have a reason to make it all political because in my country we have a lot of support from the Gov.

impair the creative process

Not for me. It was a tool to help me execute my creativity a lot like photoshop. I didn't had to spend 3/4 days modeling.

copyright infringement

Well I don't have a word here because I pirate shows, movies, book etc. Have you ever?!

asshole bosses

My boss can't really do that in my country because we have strict labour laws and very powerful unions, if that is not your experience your country should vote better

I'd be dosappointed

well besides the fact that you suck the joy out of a fun gift, you are focusing on the bad side of tech but a lot of good can come from it. In the 90s we didn't had DNA technology and new tech + great minds, turned it possible to identify dead bodies, find missing people and murderes, Identify disorders and other genetc problems, and not to mention CRISPR tech that literally cure some cancers and save people. We wouldn't have all that with only bright minds we also need to support them with technology.

Again if you experience with new tech is so negative, and if "everything is political" to you may be that it's not a tech problem but a life problem and I really am sorry about that, but again not everyone has the same life experience.

Wow calm down fidel. You are taking this to a very political side. I'm not american btw. I'm talking about that it is awesome to see technology evolving so fast and bringing new things to our lifes. Maybe this is a political community and I was wrong to post here but This was not at all a political post

What is this "money" you talk about?!

[–] MissJinx@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

really?! that must be cultural. I'm not american but from my experience also from male and female friends since...ever lol.. men tend not to care. I've seen a friend hit on and take home a homeless toothless smelly woman I would say at least 10 years older than him. And his answer to me was "if you are too picky you starve"

oh so cool! thanks

Agreed... but hear me out. Men usualy are more sex driven and usually (not every man of course but the majority let's say) will have sex with a random woman. Women on the other hand usually (AS IN NOT EVERY WOMAN) (I'm saying that so crazy people don't come after me with the "I'm not like that") need more conection. Women will go home and not have sex if no man was interesting enough to her and she won't feel bad, man will go home with the woman he thinks it's the ugliest (again USUALLY) if she is the only one that's up to it, because for men going home alone is defeat. If you rationalize that looks is not everything for women than a man that is rejected by every woman has a lame personality while woman that are rejected by men are usually based on looks.

So yes, in this (not general but commom) scenario a man that is unfuckable is an asshole and a woman may be an asshole or may just be fat

edit: is late and I don't have my glasses so sorry for some dumb english

I'm not american and don't care about politics but I was watching a show the other day and when Rogan appeared as a guest I had to shut off after 5 minutes. This person is so annoying I couldn't stand. Don't know how you guys do it. I didn't even liked him in newsradio and I loved the show.

So since I started taking my meds many years ago my dreams became more vivid and I can remember them better and in more detail. Usually this is great but I watched Terrifier 3 last night and had one the most messed up scenes of a dream stuck in my head. Wtf brain?! Seriously, it involved a child and now I'm messed up because of my own fucking brain, not even a real thing.

Any of you had a similar experience?

Didn't even knew there was a shrek book, much less that he had laser-eyes. wtf the book looks better than the movie

"Original Shrek smells so bad that trees lean away from him as he goes by, and he’s so ugly that he can cook food just by glaring at it, with an eye-laser effect that looks exactly like a colored-pencil version of Superman’s heat vision. Shrek also breathes fire and blows smoke out of his ears for fun."
