Not rocking the boat is better than setting the country on fire for no goddamn reason (if the system were burning down with a reasonable expectation we could make it better that'd be arguably different). Better Plan: vote in representatives that represent you, and stop listening to those that make you feel warm and fuzzy. But, this is a harder plan. Requires the majority of voters to, you know, try.

What's not okay is demeaning people by calling them any derogatory term, and blacklisting words thinking that will somehow correct the problem is the height of hubris -- as if there are no other suitable replacements. It's an attempt to take a shortcut to a societal problem. It is, in a word, retarded (you can look up the definition in a dictionary and see it's an appropriate usage).
